It is such a joy to serve our risen Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, each and every day! We are truly thankful for each and every one of you! We are excited to have Steve Pelt and his wonderful wife Christy joining us in Worship and bringing the Word of God for us this month. We ask that you all take this time to pray for God's guidance, wisdom, and direction as we move forward. Steve comes to us with a heart to follow God's will and whatever direction the Lord should lead him and his family in. In his words, his heart's desire is to see the Bride of Christ healthy, serving, loving, and being the shining city on a hill that She should be. After several meetings and discussions with him, we believe he could be a great fit to serve as an Interim Pastor at this time. We ask that you take some time to get to know the Pelts, pray with and over them, and seek God's will in this matter with us.
Our next step will be to form a Team that will take on the huge task of praying, interviewing, going through resume's, and seeking out our next Pastoral Leader. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please reach out to Rob Dupree at RobDupree@EpiphanyBaptist.com. We already have a few volunteers and are excited to see you, the membership, willing to take on this challenge! Thank you so much!
We have so much to be thankful for! As God is going before us and preparing the way ahead, as new faces are continuing to walk through our doors, as God's Wisdom is being revealed to us and showing us new ministry needs and opportunities to serve, and as Spring is finally here and the weather will begin to allow many outdoor outreach opportunities; we expect and praise God in advance for His great, mighty, and powerful works!
Be praying for Thomas, Rob, and Clint as we oversee all of the works of the church. Also be praying for your Ministry Leaders...if you don't know who they are, check out our new Ministry Leaders Page right here on the church website. Finally, if you are not currently plugged in to a ministry, we need you! Right now is a time when we need all hands on deck through prayer, love, fellowship, participation, and generous service! "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord!" Romans 12:11
